Product Executive - Adventure TravelThis travel company are one of the leading adventure travel specialists and are looking for an experienced Product Executive to join them in this exciting, varied role. This role involves developing the product range for their successful family adventure programme, creating trips to appeal to a broad range of customers. For this role you must have first hand experience of diving.Product Executive – Role & Responsibilities:
- Assist with the creation and development of product for worldwide adventure product, specifically diving.
- Liaison with overseas suppliers to contract suitable product, ensuring strict health & safety compliance.
- Ongoing competitor analysis, to ensure trips are priced competitively within the market.
- Contribute to marketing material for website, emails, printed material, and customer documentation.
- Assist with selling holidays during peak sales months or in sales team absence. Use your specialist knowledge to provide expert guidance and advice to customers to assist them in selecting the right holiday to a range of worldwide destinations.
- Provide exceptional customer service encouraging customers to book and return in the future.
- Be on call as part of a duty management rota.
Product Executive– Skills & Experience Required:
- Experience in a product or tailor-made sales role within a tour operator, specifically within adventure travel and good first hand knowledge of a variety of worldwide destinations.
- Experienced with costing tailor-made itineraries with strong commercial acumen.
- Strong creative and copywriting ability.
- Ability to build strong working relationships with experience of liaising with external suppliers.
- Passionate about adventure travel.
- Experience of working in a travel sales environment.
- Exceptional customer service skills and experience.
- Motivated & pro-active.Â
- Articulate with strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage and prioritise workloads.
Product Executive – Key Benefits:
- Salary dependent on experience but circa £26k to £30k.
- Hybrid role, circa 2 days in the office.
