SEND Teacher - Specialist Provision
Location: Alsager, Cheshire
Salary: 120 - 145 per day
Start Date: April and September 2025 available
Contract: Full-time, Long-term contract

About the Role:
As a SEND Teacher, you will be responsible for providing a high standard of teaching and learning to students with special educational needs. This role involves creating tailored learning plans that cater to the individual needs of each student, promoting independence, and ensuring that every student has the support they need to succeed. You will work alongside a supportive team and use a range of strategies to ensure that students can access the curriculum and make progress in their learning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver individualised lessons to students with SEND
- Differentiate lessons to ensure accessibility and support for diverse learning needs
- Use positive behaviour strategies to foster a safe and inclusive learning environment
- Provide targeted support to help students achieve their learning goals
- Collaborate with teaching assistants and other staff to implement personalised learning plans
- Assess student progress and adapt teaching strategies as necessary
- Foster a growth mindset, confidence, and independence in students
Key Requirements:
- PGCE and QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
- Strong understanding of SEND and inclusive teaching practices
- Excellent communication, behaviour management, and adaptability skills
- Passionate about working with students who have SEND and supporting them to achieve their full potential
- Previous experience in a SEND setting is desirable but not essential
