Summary: Our client is looking for a Senior Accountants person to oversee and manage the workflow of a small team of 8-10 accountancy staff. The successful candidate will work closely with partners, staff, and clients, reviewing accounts files, assisting with VAT work, and ensuring smooth team operations. Whilst this role does not involve direct line management, it requires excellent organisational and leadership skills.Key Responsibilities:路 Managing and overseeing the workflow within a team of 8-10 accountancy staff.路 Working closely with the partners and the accounts team to ensure efficient processes.路 Reviewing accounts files and providing feedback where necessary.路 Assisting with VAT and tax-related tasks.路 Preparing accounts when required.路 Building and maintaining strong client relationships.路 Supporting the training and development of junior staff as part of the firm鈥檚 commitment to professional growth.Key Requirements:路 Fully qualified ACA/ACCA accountant.路 Previous experience working in a practice environment is essential.路 Experience managing or overseeing the work of a small team.路 Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage workflow effectively.路 Familiarity with accounting software (IRIS experience is beneficial but not essential).路 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong client focus.路 A stable career history, as the firm is seeking someone committed to a long-term position.
