Our client is seeking a full-time Accounts Payable Assistant to join their expanding, exciting team on a 9 month fixed term contract. This position offers on-site work with the added benefit of free parking.

Accounts Payable Assistant - About The Role

The Accounts Payable Assistant will be responsible for processing purchase invoices and employee expenses. They will manage payment processes for stock costs, input payments onto online banking systems, and allocate them to supplier accounts. The role involves maintaining an up-to-date supplier database, including updating addresses and payment details, as well as reconciling supplier statements with aged creditor reports and resolving any discrepancies. Additionally, the assistant will assist with month-end tasks and provide support for general accounts administration.

The successful Accounts Payable Assistant will have/be:

  • Knowledge of accounting principles
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience win an Accounts Payable role
