In this role, you will:

  • Pastry Production: Manage your pastry kitchen activities, ensuring every dessert and pastry meets the highest standards of preparation and presentation.
  • Team Training and Delegation: Work closely with the Head Pastry Chef to train and inspire your team, managing tasks to maintain a smooth and efficient workflow.
  • Margin and Costing Management: Utilise your expertise in margin and costing to optimise pastry production efficiency and minimise waste.
  • Supervise Pastry Service: Supervise pastry production, ensuring every product meets exceptional quality standards.
  • Promote Teamwork and Creativity: Foster a positive team atmosphere, encouraging collaboration, creativity, and a welcoming environment among staff.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in a pastry production kitchen and a strong understanding of various pastry techniques, ingredients, equipment, and processes.
