Events Fundraising Officer
Location: Alton, Hampshire (with hybrid working options)
Duration: Temporary, 2-2.5 months
Pay: £13.84-£14.87 per hour (£27-£29K FTE)
Working Hours, flexible options:
- Full-time: 37.5 hours per week, 2 days in the office
- Part-time: 21 hours plus, 1 day in the office

Start Date: W/C 10th February 2025
Charity People are seeking an upbeat, friendly, and highly organised Events Fundraising Officer to join a health-related charity on a temporary basis. This is a busy and varied role, perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The Events Fundraising Officer will lead the way on several of the charity’s events, overseeing on the day event logistics, marketing, planning and fundraiser stewardship. All with the aim of increasing potential income from participants. Outside of specific fundraising projects, you will be responsible for building long term relationships with a wide range of supporters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting the planning and coordination of marathons and other events.
- Respond to enquiries from the public
- Handling administrative tasks, including data input, income processing of donations.
- Communicating effectively with team members and stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Strong administrative skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
- A positive and proactive attitude.
- Worked in a fundraising environment
