Reed Education Bristol are currently working two exciting vacancies for large educational  organisation that caters for children with SEMH. After successfully opening two new SEMH schools in the UK this year, our client are now looking to open two more, one in Hampshire and one in Gloucestershire and is therefore looking to appoint two new Headteachers.
Each school will cater for children with SEMH and at capacity, will enrol 120 pupils. This will of course though, be after a phased opening where children will join in cohorts of roughly 20.
The school are looking for Headteachers / Senior Teachers looking to step into Headship, who are passionate about working with children with SEMH – and even though this is Headteacher role, you will be expected to work with all children, parents, staff at the school as well as external parties – so someone who likes to get stuck in at all levels will definitely do well here!
This organisation really do have the children’s best interests at heart, and their other SEMH schools in the UK are extremely therapeutic and often set in picturesque settings surrounded by nature. They believe every child has the right to an exciting, varied curriculum to meet their individual needs.  And by curriculum they do not just mean work in the classroom- but a lot of the day spent outdoors too.Â
The role is permanent and to start in January or April, as the school will wait for the right person if notice periods come into play. They would like to see CV’s from us in the first instance, and then if selected you would have a teams appointment with the companies CEO, and then if progressed on from there the CEO would travel to meet you in person for a face to face interview.
Salary is circa £70-80,000 depending on experience.
