This massively expanding and highly successful engineering company now requires a Hire Desk Assistant to make sure that customer expectations are met through the management, distribution and maintenance of the hire fleet. You'll be working closely with the Customer Service team to ensure all orders are dispatched on time and in full.As the Hire Desk Assistant you will benefit from:• 30 - 33k pa depending on experience• Training and career development opportunities• Free parking• Hours 7.30am to 5pm Monday to Friday• 20 days annual leave plus bank holidays• Free tea & coffee provided• Modern, open plan officeAs the Hire Desk Assistant you will be:• Processing and answering all the hire desk queries• Managing the stock system and product distribution between depots• Providing customers with the appropriate levels of support through the hire journey• Ensuring all delivery dates are met and notifying the Customer Service and Transport teams immediately if there are any changes/problems• Recording and passing on all customer complaints to relevant departments• Maintaining and updating records of sales to hire conversions of equipment• Following up on all FOC hires to maintain the 1-week trial• Sending off weekly live hire reports to all customers• Communicating with operation departments for lead times and stock questions• Handling queries from warehouse, yard and transport departments• Liaising with Transport for all site bookingsTo succeed as the Hire Desk Assistant you will need:• Previous experience in a similar role• Ability to work in a team and an exceptional people person• Good planning and organisational skills• A can-do, problem solving attitude and ability to work in fast paced, high-pressure environment• Good, clear communication skills both written and verbal • Accuracy and attention to detail• Possess genuine care for the customer.HOW DO I APPLY?If you are interested in applying for this Hire Desk Assistant vacancy, please use the link, or give one of our friendly team a call on .If this is not the job for you, but you know someone who might be interested please get in touch and take advantage of our fantastic RECOMMEND A FRIEND' scheme.
