Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager the purpose of this post is to provide administrative assistance to ensure that manufacturing paperwork is accurately and timely updated and maintained. The post holder will manage, organise, update and maintain control of the manufacturing raws and it's movements throughout the business, whilst ensuring that compliance with quality, Health and Safety and Good Manufacturing Practices are adhered to at all times. As a member of the Manufacturing Team, this is a hands-on, office based role, in a busy, fast paced environment, which requires flexibility and enthusiasm at all times and ability to problem solve. Accuracy and attention to detail are paramount to this role, and the post holder will be required to liaise with all other departments within the business. Following training, the post holder requires knowledge of manufacturing and warehouse processes, procedural knowledge and understanding of stock / product control and operational knowledge of the internal computerised stock location system. The post holder will be required to work within clearly defined processes and procedures, referring major issues to the Manufacturing Team Leaders for resolution.

Based: Office based

Role Hours: Variable 37.5 hours per week or Early Shift 06:00am-14:00pm

Following training, the key duties of the post are as follows; Manufacturing/ Warehouse Administration

• Report any stock shortages to the Warehouse Stock Controller for resolution

• Perform consumption operations immediately with regards to picked raws

• Responsible for the completion of customer stock return as required

• Responsible for raising picking list, BMR's and process sheets

• Contribute to the achievement of the overall Key Performance Indicator (KPI) objectives

• To report on yields after consumption and report any shortfalls Stock Movement and Administration

• Ensure the accurate system based movement of stock to ensure up-to-date inventory is maintained at all times

• Responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date picking lists to support manufacturing planning

• Identify, designate and ensure stock is picked to ensure the manufacturing areas are serviced as required in a timely fashion, maximising throughput as orders dictate • Responsible for maintaining the weekly stock check routine and updating the system as appropriate

• Responsible for ensuring that all returns are recorded and updated accurately and efficiently

General

• Work closely as part of a team in conjunction with the, Manufacturing and Warehouse departments

• Ensure the cleanliness of the office and other accountable areas is maintained

• Ensure that all documentation is completed accurately and efficiently to maintain audit trail and proof of delivery (POD)

• Ensure that all relevant documentation is filed accurately on a daily basis to ensure traceability

• Responsible for updating the internal computerised stock location system as appropriate

• Responsible for the input and processing of stock check information

• Ensure that SOPs and Work Instructions are adhered to at all times

• Ensure compliance with Health and Safety at Work, and maintain that safe working practices (SWPs) are adhered to at all times

• Maintain high standards of GMP at all times in the warehouse and other accountable areas

• Be available for weekend and out of hours work if and when the business dictates

Skills and Experience required:

• Good administration skills and good attention to detail – essential

• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office gained through practical experience – essential

• Experience of working within a production, ideally packaging, environment - desired

• Ability to build strong relationships with internal customers

• A confident individual able to communicate effectively with all levels of personnel

• Demonstrate ability to efficiently plan, organise and manage own workload.

• Ability to use computerised information systems to input, retrieve and update all relevant data
