Mechanical Assembly Technician

We are looking for a Mechanical Assembly Technician to join an expanding team, assembling and maintaining specialist machinery while ensuring seamless warehouse operations.

Please be advised that due to the nature and location of the role, a full, clean drivers license is required with access to your own transport.

What You’ll Be Doing as the Mechanical Assembly Technician

• Assembling and building specialist machinery to exact specifications.
• Conducting quality control checks to ensure machinery meets required standards before dispatch.
• Packing and wrapping products securely for shipment to customers.
• Carrying out maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment as needed.
• Using your mechanical expertise to diagnose and troubleshoot issues efficiently.
• Organising and managing stock, ensuring all components and tools are readily available.
• Loading and unloading deliveries, checking items against orders.
• Keeping the workshop and warehouse clean and organised, maintaining a safe working environment.
• Working independently and as part of a team, using your initiative to complete tasks with minimal supervision.
• Liaising with internal departments, including sales and aftersales, to support smooth operations.

What We’re Looking For

• A background in car mechanics, machinery maintenance, or a similar technical field.
• Someone who is hands-on, practical, and enjoys working with machinery.
• The ability to problem-solve and work independently with minimal supervision.
• A strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship.
• Previous experience in agriculture or agricultural machinery is beneficial but not essential.
• A positive, proactive attitude with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
