Proactive Global currently is looking for Precision Assemblers to join one of our customers based in Alton.
Hours: 39hrs per week, 07:00am - 17:00 pm Mon - Thurs, although flexibility is often required in order to meet customer deadlines.
24k- 26k per annum
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- General light soldering of wiring and brush assemblies
- Mechanical assembly of components and fixings
- Correct use of tooling for bearing fitting
- Understanding and reading of assembly drawings and specifications
- Adherence to assembly instructions
- Handling and fitting of bearings
- Magnet Handling and use of adhesives
- Drilling and pining of shafts
- Polishing/dressing of armatures
- Motor testing and use of hand held test equipment
- Inspection with use of hand measuring equipment
- Handling and fitting of electronic components and printed circuit board assemblies
- Experience of working within an ISO 9001 and AS9100 manufacturing environment
- Maintain regular consistent and professional attendance, punctuality, personal appearance, and adherence to relevant health & safety procedures
- Pursue personal development of skills and knowledge necessary for the effective performance of the role.
