If so, we want to hear from you!Pertemps are currently recruiting for an ambitious Production Supervisor to join a well-established manufacturing company in Alton to oversee the 24/7 high-speed production lines on the night shift. This is a full-time, permanent position on site.Production Supervisor Duties:- Oversee and manage all Production operations within the shifts.- Confidently make key decisions and being the senior on site.- Ensure compliance with Health and Safety, HSE requirements and safe practices.- Be responsible for continued adherence to good manufacturing practice (GMP) standards.- Ensure that operations on all equipment are performed to a professional, high standard.- Liaise and work closely with the engineering team to prioritise production planning.- Liaise closely with supply chain management to ensure production schedules are achieved and eliminate delays.- Identify development opportunities for production line staff in the achievement of quality standards and required target outputs.- Ensure major issues are escalated in line with the agreed processes.- Be responsible for ensuring stock and waste accountability through real time stock (RTS) transactions and completion of production work orders.Production Supervisor Requirements:- Experience within a FMCG Production environment.- Experience in managing / supervising a team.- Understanding of Process Improvement and Continuous Improvement.- Strong understanding of Health and Safety at Work (HASAW), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Safe Systems of Work (SSOW).- Ability to develop strong work relationships with your team and other staff members.Production Supervisor Benefits:- 23.5 days annual leave- Health cash plans- Lifestyle discount vouches- Employee recognition scheme- Employee assistance programme- Annual pay review and bonus- Auto enrolment pension- Free parking onsite- Subsidised canteen- 3 free products a monthProduction Supervisor Package;- Expected salary is £41,800 including shift premium and hand over allowance- 22:00 - 10:00 (you will be expected to arrive 21:45 for a shift handover)- Working pattern will be as followsweek 1) 2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days onweek 2) 2 days off, 2 days on and 3 days off- Following the above pattern, you will be working 7 days out of 14 on a 2 week cycle.If you are interested in this Production Supervisor position, please apply with an up to date CV or contact Lily at Pertemps Basingstoke
