Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and organised Assistant Management Accountant to support their Financial Controller with transactional processes required before the preparation of monthly accounts. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work within a dynamic team, processing transactions for two entities within the organisation. As an Assistant Management Accountant, your primary role will be to support the Financial Controller in managing transactional processes before the preparation of monthly accounts. You will handle various responsibilities including maintaining cash book reconciliation, processing expenses, and supporting the year-end audit. Additionally, you will process sales and supplier invoices for another entity within the organisation using the finance system Your keen eye for detail, excellent organisational skills, and ability to meet deadlines will contribute significantly to your success in this role.

  • Support the Financial Controller with transnational processes required before the preparation of monthly accounts
  • Maintain cash book reconciliation and petty cash
  • Process expenses and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Maintain fixed asset register
  • Support preparation for the year-end audit
  • Process sales invoices and supplier invoices

The ideal candidate for this Assistant Management Accountant position brings strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel, along with experience in financial accounting systems. Experience with finance databases would advantageous but not essential. Previous experience in a similar role is crucial for this position as well as being part- qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA ot have equivalent experience

This role role would suit an Assistant Accountant with previous experience of the above who is looking for a commercial, fully autonomous role with fast track career progression
