Financial Accountant

Your new companyYour new company is a highly acquisitive multinational logistics business based in South Manchester. After a number of recent successful acquisitions, they now need to strengthen their finance function with a Qualified Financial Accountant. Your new roleIn your new role as Financial Accountant you will lead the IFRS/Fixed Assets/CAPEX and other accounting standards for the business. You will lead on the management of the balance sheet for the fixed assets. You will control the inter company reconciliation for the business ensuring compliance with group procedure and resolving any differences with other entities. You will business partner with senior stakeholders across Finance, Operations and Sales. You will take lead on the PWC audit and other audit bodies. What you'll need to succeedYou will be ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified Finance Professional with experience working within a large complex organisation. You will be familiar with accounting processes such as IFRS16, Fixed Assets, CAPEX and other accounting standards. You will have strong monthly accounting and reporting experience. Strong control and governance of balance skills. You will have excellent stakeholder management and have the ability to talk to both finance and non-financial leaders within the business.
