Michael Page are partnered exclusively with an industry leading business going through a period of growth. They are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join them at a really exciting time for the business.

Description

Accounts Assistant responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for accurate reconciliation of ledgers and payments
  • Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations
  • Assist with ensuring accurate calculation of input VAT
  • Prepare PAYE payment files on a monthly basis for all group companies
  • Monitoring and correcting any systematic errors identified during BAU reporting.
  • Support as a point of contact for payroll queries
  • Responsible for the production of international management accounts each month
  • Assisting with establishing and developing appropriate internal controls.
  • Support with any ad-hoc departmental or business projects as required

Profile

The candidate will have:

  • Previous experience within a Finance setting - Required
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal - Required
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Excel - Required
  • Previous Sage experience - Desirable
  • High attention to detail - Required
  • Can do attitude and eagerness to learn & develop - Required
