 We are seeking an enthusiastic and results-driven SEO Consultant to join our digital marketing team. The SEO Consultant will play a critical role in improving our search engine rankings, driving organic traffic, and maximizing our online visibility. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in search engine optimisation, a solid understanding of on-page and off-page SEO strategies, and familiarity with tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEO platforms.  Key Responsibilities:
  • SEO Strategy: Manage the development, implementation, and optimisation of the SEO strategy to meet business objectives and improve search engine rankings. 
  • Keyword Research: Conduct in-depth keyword research and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities for targeted keywords. 
  • Content Optimisation: Work closely with the content team to optimise blog posts, web pages, product pages, and other digital content, ensuring keyword integration, readability, and alignment with SEO best practices. 
  • On-Page SEO: Perform on-page optimisation, including updating meta tags, headers, and internal linking to improve content ranking potential. 
  • Off-Page SEO: Assist in off-page optimisation tasks, such as link-building outreach, guest blogging, and brand partnerships to improve domain authority and backlink profile. 
  • Technical SEO: Collaborate with web developers to implement technical SEO improvements, such as page speed optimisation, schema markup, XML sitemaps, and mobile-friendliness. 
  • Performance Analysis: Regularly monitor and analyse SEO performance using Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other SEO tools, preparing monthly reports and insights for management. 
  • Competitor Tracking: Stay updated with competitors' SEO strategies and trends to identify areas for improvement. 
  • Stay Updated on SEO Trends: Keep up with the latest industry trends, search engine algorithm updates, and best practices to maintain and improve SEO rankings. 
 Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience: Previous experience in an SEO or digital marketing role, ideally within the UK market. 
  • Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, and Screaming Frog. 
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present SEO data insights. 
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. 
  • Organisational Skills: Strong attention to detail, time management, and ability to handle multiple tasks and projects. 
  • Additional Skills: Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.
