Our client, an established and successful company, is expanding and seeking a Sales Account Manager to join their passionate team. Our client is a privately owned market leader, designing and stocking premium team and sportswear clothing. They sell to retailers, resellers, and brands, achieving significant year-on-year growth. Based in Altrincham, Manchester, they are continuing to expand and are looking for a driven and energetic individual to contribute to their success. What will you be doing as a Sales Account Manager?

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers
  • Proactively identify opportunities to upsell and achieve sales targets
  • Manage a diverse portfolio of accounts and ensure customer satisfaction
  • Engage in cold calling, emailing, and LinkedIn outreach to generate leads
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a seamless customer experience
  • Contribute to sales projects and provide valuable customer feedback to improve offerings
  • Organise and manage customer pipelines, tracking reordering cycles
  • Participate in prospecting activities and lead generation
  • Regularly meet with clients face to face and remotely

  • Good experience in a sales-focused role (experience in sportswear or schoolwear is a bonus, but not required)
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to meet targets and thrive under pressure
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and results-driven
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly
  • A customer-centric approach with a genuine interest in client success
  • Full, clean UK driving license
