Our client are a world leader in large scale, utility grade FACTS, their portfolio includes landmark EPC and turnkey power grid projects across the globe.

Due to continued growth they are looking to secure the services ofa Contracts Advisor that possesses FIDIC knowledge with an emphasis on EPC contracts.

Primary Responsibilities

Business Development / Pre-Contract:

  • review contracts
  • participate in / lead negotiations on contract terms and conditions
  • preparation of pre-contract agreements such as non-disclosure agreements, agency agreements, collaboration agreements and technology transfer agreements
  • preparation of contractual tender deviations
  • participate in review of tenders
  • advise on risk

Post Contract:

  • provide contractual advice to the project delivery teams
  • assist the project management team in preparation of contractual correspondence, including notices, variations and claims
  • assist senior management in dealing with any claims
  • preparation of sub-contracts / supply agreements

Desired Background

  • quantity surveyor or contracts advisor from with a construction / electrical engineering background or a legal professional with commercial experience
  • minimum 2 years relevant experience, preferable 5 years plus
