NJR Recruitment are currently working in Partnership with a boutique firm of Independent Financial Planners servicing a bank of very High Net Worth clients. An experienced IFA Administrator is required to join their small but busy team based in Altrincham.

The objective of this role is to support the advisers with an efficient administrative support function; and to ensure that work is processed accurately and without delay.

Key responsibilities:

  • Send letters of authority and requests for information to providers. Chase information and check that everything is obtained in order to progress the case
  • Set up and input client data in the back office system (Intelligent Office)
  • Use provider platforms to process new business, ensure that all requirements to complete the business are met
  • Liaise with providers to ensure that new business is transacted correctly
  • Prepare client files for annual reviews including obtaining plan valuations
  • Process fund switches on provider platforms
  • Produce client letters as required
  • Assist the advisers by providing administrative support to complete actions from client meetings
  • Maintain the accuracy of client data by continuously updating records and logging case activity
  • Ensure that files/cases remain compliant
  • Deliver exceptional customer service both in person and over the phone
  • Maintain organised electronic filing systems
  • Escalate breaches or complaints to the Compliance Manager

Skills:

  • Proficient in Microsoft packages (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams)
  • Fast and accurate data input skills
  • Strong organisational skills and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to prioritise tasks effectively with good time management skills

About you:

Candidates applying must have a good working knowledge of the financial services sector and ideally have at least 1 years experience working in a similar role, supporting financial advisers. You will preferably have experience of Intelligent Office and using various provider platforms. Our Client offers the opportunity to be part of a small, friendly team. Hours of work are Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm although there is some flexibility with the start and finish times.

They offer 25 days holiday plus an additional day off for your birthday, life insurance, pension scheme and some flexibility to work from home following successful completion of the probationary period.
