Junior Paraplanner

We are seeking a Junior Paraplanner to join our team, focusing on reports and research with the potential to develop into full paraplanning or advising. This role is ideal for someone who is looking to grow their career in financial planning, supported by a team that values collaboration and professional development.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Assist in the preparation of client reports and financial plans
  • Conduct thorough research on financial products and investment opportunities
  • Collaborate with IFAs and the admin servicing team to ensure efficient workflow and client service
  • Manage and process client data using our back office system, IO
  • Utilise A J Bell, our main platform, for various administrative and planning tasks
  • Analyse financial data and create reports using FE Analytics
  • Work closely with the team manager to pool and manage IFA work effectively
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our reporting and research processes
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • A keen interest in financial planning and a desire to develop into a paraplanner or advisor role
  • Strong analytical and research skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment
  • Proficiency in using financial platforms and back office systems, experience with A J Bell and IO is advantageous
  • Familiarity with FE Analytics or similar research tools is beneficial
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
