Conveyancer – Shared OwnershipLocation: AltrinchamSalary: CompetitiveDouglas Scott is working with a well-established client in Altrincham seeking an experienced Conveyancer to join their team. This role offers the opportunity to manage shared ownership purchase and resale transactions from inception to completion in a dynamic and supportive environment.Key Responsibilities
  • Handling shared ownership purchase and resale transactions independently.
  • Communicating effectively with clients, third parties, and developers via phone, email, and in-person meetings.
  • Maintaining and updating the case management system (e.g., Proclaim) and relevant websites in real time.
  • Supervising and supporting a small team of Legal Assistants, including providing training and guidance.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with work referrers to ensure a consistent flow of transactions.
Candidate RequirementsThe ideal candidate will have:
  • Strong administrative skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience using case management systems such as Proclaim.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience managing a caseload of conveyancing matters, including shared ownership.
  • Leadership qualities and a commitment to mentoring junior team members.
