We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Kitchen Manager to join our team at a well-established healthcare facility in Manchester. This role requires a skilled team player with a passion for delivering exceptional food quality and service in a high-pressure environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service and maintain high standards of food quality and production.
  • Effectively manage stock purchasing, storage, preparation, and service while ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency.
  • Lead and manage a small kitchen team, ensuring smooth operations and compliance with mandatory training.
  • Oversee food operations to meet desired cost targets and maximize resource potential.
  • Ensure adherence to cleanliness, food safety, and Health and Safety regulations, including compliance with the Food Safety Act 1990 and the Health and Safety at Work Act.
  • Report sickness and holiday absences and ensure team coverage.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience working in a busy kitchen environment.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to manage high-pressure situations.
  • Full clean driving license.
  • Ability to work predominantly Monday to Friday, 7 am - 7 pm, with occasional weekend cover.
  • Flexibility to work over 3.5 or 4 days per week for work-life balance.
