What will you be doing as an Account Manager?

  • Working as the first point of contact for key clients calling into the business
  • Full account management of all clients service requests
  • Managing communication with key contacts via phone email and client portals
  • Taking responsibility for day-to-day service requests
  • Preparing Health and Safety packs for work completed, ensuring that all records are maintained on the internal job management platform
  • Supporting the wider helpdesk team in responding to all general customer sales and service enquiries
  • Ensuring the highest standard of customer service is maintained
  • Providing support to field-based operatives, taking ownership of requests
  • Providing general assistance to contract managers and operations director
  • Managing time effectively to make sure that inboxes are cleared as quickly as possible

What skills are required for the role of Account Manager?

  • Ideally a proven track record working in a customer service role
  • This would be suitable for a customer service executive or advisor, if you have worked on any help desks, coordination account management or administration capacities
  • Excellent Customer Service skills
  • Strong PC skills, proficient typing, and data entry skills essential
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to manage pressure and conflicting demands and prioritise tasks and workload
