Purpose:
To enable the effective delivery of the marketing campaign strategy across the organisations brand, products and customer groups. They work with the Marketing Manager and other colleagues in the Sales & Marketing team to provide strategic digital marketing campaigns in line with organisational strategy and departmental objectives.

Principal accountabilities:
  • Supporting the Marketing Manager to meet the key objectives of the 3-year growth plan, which aims to deliver Matrixs core business strategy while strengthening our value proposition and brand differentiation.
  • Own and execute key campaign initiatives, contributing to the overall success of the Marketing strategy.
  • Overseeing the lifecycle of marketing campaigns, including target audience identification, delivery of core messaging, budget management, and performance tracking, optimising all content across digital marketing platforms including websites, search, paid advertising campaigns, social media and email campaigns.
  • Produce campaign content and design including personalised landing page copy aligned with our marketing strategy.
  • Tracking campaign performance, analysing data and metrics and providing actionable insights and recommendations for campaign optimisation and MRR attribution.
  • Conducting market research, analysing trends, and gathering insights to inform campaign direction.
Person specification:
  • Excellent written and spoken English with a creative flair and an eye for detail.
  • B2B background with commercial awareness and business acumen.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to foster good working relationships.
  • A self-motivated and driven individual with a flexible approach to work and the ability to work well under pressure.

Functional skills & qualifications:

  • BSc degree in Marketing, or a relevant field, is desirable.
  • Relevant professional qualifications/training, e.g. CIM.
  • Proven experience in a similar role within a fast-paced, commercially focused SaaS B2B business would be an advantage.
  • A strong understanding of current content marketing concepts, strategies, and best practices.

  • Understanding of Google Analytics, SEO, PPC, Display and paid social media campaign development, execution and reporting.
  • This position requires a deep understanding of paid media channels, as well as a keen eye for creative content to continually optimise campaign performance.
  • Experience working on paid digital campaigns for lead generation & ABM campaigns.
