The following will play a crucial 1-to-1 role in achieving financial objectives by overseeing and coordinating the collection process on a varied customer basis from a standalone position. This role is ideal for seasoned candidate with a keen interest in the financial services industry & who wants to progress & develop into a long-term successful collections partner. The following will require full experience & understanding of settlement law.

Description

Main responsibilities consist of:

  • Maintain a thorough understanding of company policies and legal regulations pertaining to debt collection.
  • Monitor and analyse customer accounts to identify outstanding debts.
  • Maintain transparent communication with clients on case progress, challenges, and recovery outcomes over numerous instances
  • Professionally engage with debtors to secure repayments, ensuring fair and ethical treatment while safeguarding client interests.
  • Develop and implement effective recovery strategies.
  • Liaise directly with internal solicitors over ranging cases.
  • Propose and implement bespoke repayment plans, balancing debtor circumstances and client objectives.
  • Exercise discretion in resolving disputes and determining recovery approaches without supervision.
  • Maintain accurate records and prepare reports on collection activities.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and resolve any disputes.
  • Strictly adhere to GDPR, FCA, and other debt recovery regulations, maintaining ethical standards at all times.
  • Contribute to the overall customer service objectives of the company.

Profile

An ideal candidate will have:

  • Strong critical understanding of legal fields alongside financial services.
  • Strong knowledge of collection regulations and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytic skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in using financial software and MS Office.
  • Previous experience in sales or collections preferred
  • Negotiation experience in financial sector also considered.

Job Offer

  • Basic salary of 31,000 with flex DOE.
