Early Years Practitioner - Altrincham, Trafford.

Educate GM’s partner Nursery in Altrincham, Trafford is looking for an experienced Nursery Practitioner to join their nurturing Private Day Nursery. We are looking for highly motivated and caring individuals to be part of our team.

About the Early Years Practitioner Role:

As a Nursery Practitioner, you will nurture the educational and social development of babies and young children up to the age of 5. You will provide a safe and stimulating environment where children can learn and develop essential social and behavioural skills. We are ideally seeking someone with extensive experience in early years education, who excels at engaging young children in age-appropriate play activities.

The role is full-time, for the full academic year and will commence from December/January 2024. This great opportunity will pay £95-£105 a day, depending on experience.

Daily responsibilities vary and may include maintaining records of children's progress to share with parents, building strong relationships with parents and carers, supporting fellow nursery staff, adhering to nursery policies, upholding high standards, and creating engaging activities for the children.

To be successful in this role you will need:

  • Early Years Qualification or working towards one
  • Experience in UK schools/nurseries

All candidates must have:

  • A valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check (DBS)
