Educate GM’s partner Nursery in Altrincham, Trafford are looking for an experienced Nursery Practitioner to join their nurturing Day Nursery. We are looking for highly motivated and caring individuals to join the team.

About the Nursery Practitioner Role:

As a Nursery Practitioner, you will oversee the educational, social and emotional development of babies and young children up to the age of 5. Providing the children with a safe environment to learn, play and develop basic social and behavioural skills. Ideally, we are looking for someone with experience of working within early years and engaging young children in age-appropriate and fun play activities. Exceptional communication skills are necessary. The day-to-day duties vary but can include keeping a record of children’s progress to share with parents, building relationships with parents and carers, supporting nursery staff members, adhering to the nursery’s policies, maintaining high standards, and delivering fun activities for children.

Our reputable, Trafford nursery seeks a Nursery Practitioner for a full-time role, for the full academic year and will commence from December 2024. This great opportunity will pay £95-£105 a day, depending on experience.

The nursery has supportive staff members who are passionate about high standards and working as part of a team.

To be successful in this role you will need:

  • Early Years Qualification or working towards one
  • Experience working in nurseries
  • Experience in UK schools/nurseries
  • Nurturing nature
  • Caring and enthusiastic personality
  • Patience when times get difficult
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • a passion for helping children excel
  • Great behaviour management

All candidates must have:

  • A valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check (DBS)
  • Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history, and any employment breaks must be explained.
  • You must have the legal right to work in the UK.
