Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and deliver Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG) assessments, including the preparation of BNG plans for planning applications.
  • Carry out a range of ecological surveys (Phase 1 Habitat, Ecological Impact Assessments, etc.).
  • Manage and coordinate specialist survey teams nationwide.
  • Oversee the acquisition of biodiversity credits and units as part of offsetting schemes.
  • Prepare ecological reports for planning applications and help discharge planning conditions.

Skills & Experience:

  • Proven expertise in BNG assessments and ecological surveys, including Natural England licence applications.
  • Experience in coordinating ecological survey teams across various locations.
  • Strong report writing skills for planning submissions and compliance.
  • Full driving licence with the ability to travel when necessary.
