Your new companyYour new company is a highly entrepreneurial financial services SME based in Altrincham. They've been established for over 15+ years and are looking to recruit and experienced Finance Manager to head up their small but efficient finance function. Your new roleIn your new role of Company Accountant you will take full ownership of the finance function for the rapidly growing financial services SME. You'll produce the management accounts, own the sales ledger and purchase ledger duties. You will manage the companies' cash flow and support the Group Finance Director on key business decisions. You will produce the payroll for around 30 staff and will prepare the monthly and quarterly VAT returns.What you'll need to succeedYou will be ACA/ACCA/CIMA or QBE and familiar working within owner managed SME's and have a true "can-do" attitude. You will have previous experience working within an owner managed business and everything that comes with it. You will be comfortable owning the month end process, payroll, board packs and enjoy business partnering with the wider business. What you'll get in returnYou will receive a salary of up to £50,000 plus benefits. You will be given the autonomy to run the finance function as you feel suitable. You will not be micro managed and you will help with the continued growth of the business. You will also be able to work a hybrid or remote.
