MERJE is seeking a talented Finance Manager / Company Accountant for a dynamic, entrepreneurial start-up in the Financial Services sector. The company is poised for massive growth and seeks a dedicated Accountant to join their team and drive financial success.

This role offers a unique opportunity to manage financial operations and directly report to the CEO and you would be part of the growth plans as they set to expand 3-fold over the next 12 months

The Role

As the Finance Manager / Company Accountant, you'll be the sole finance professional, responsible for all financial operations. This role offers excellent career growth potential, working directly with the CEO in a fast-paced start-up environment.

Location – Altrincham

Salary – Up to £40k (doe) based on 4 days a week and 10am-4pm

Key Responsibilities of the Company Accountant:

  • Manage financial reporting, analysis, and forecasting
  • Production of Management Accounts
  • Profit and Loss
  • Oversee accounts receivable and payable
  • Maintain accurate financial records
  • Provide cashflow budgeting and management accounts
  • Support day-to-day operations and strategic decision-making

Required knowledge and experience for the Company Accountant role:

  • Qualified Accountant or Finalist (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
  • Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail
  • Advanced Excel proficiency (V Look ups / Pivots) is essential, and Microsoft Dynamics experience would be desirable as they are moving to this
  • Excellent communication and time management abilities
  • Capability to work independently and collaboratively

THIS ROLE WOULD 4 DAYS A WEEK (MON – THURS) 10AM – 4PM AND WOULD BE OFFICE BASED
