School Finance Manager, Altrincham Based.
Temp to Permanent
£37,000-40,000 DOE.
36.25 hours p/wk, Term Time Only + 3 weeks.
Responsibilities
- Producing all financial data and accounting leadership for the school
- Administering payroll and pension related functions
- Financial planning, monitoring annual budget, reviewing on a regular basis
- Monitoring income and expenditure and producing monthly management reports for the head teacher and governing bodies
- Monthly bank reconciliation and accurate VAT accounting
- Line management of a small team, including inductions, appraisals, and identifying any training requirements
- Co-ordinating and overseeing audits
- Managing a small team of four
Desirables
- Experience in a senior finance role, preferably Local Government or School.
- Confidence using computerised financial systems
- Experience of writing strategic reports on financial facts, that clearly identify potential business impact.
- Able to motivate and develop staff
