Location: Altrincham, Cheshire

Salary: up to £35,000 DOE

Job Description: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Airfreight Import Operator to join our dynamic team in Altrincham. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing airfreight export operations, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, and providing exceptional service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and manage airfreight import shipments from start to finish.
• Prepare and process all necessary documentation
• Liaise with airlines, customs authorities, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth and timely shipment of goods.
• Monitor and track shipments, providing regular updates to clients
• Handle any issues or discrepancies that arise during the import process
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies
• Provide excellent customer service and support to clients

Requirements:

• Proven experience in airfreight export operations
• Strong knowledge of international shipping regulations and documentation
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in relevant software and systems
• Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
