Sea Freight Exports Clerk

We are now recruiting for the Manchester office which is based in Altrincham for a Freight Forwarding Sea Freight Exports Clerk

Key duties and responsibilities:

* Using Cargowise system to complete Export documentation and operational processes.
* Communicate effectively with customers to obtain relevant information and ensure their needs are met.
* Taking sea freight exports bookings
* Ensure legislative compliance in all areas.
* Maintain Customer profiles/SOP's
* Resolve customer issues and escalate where support is needed.
* Liaise with approved third-parties to arrange carriage of goods to various worldwide destinations.
* Raise payable invoices to customers and overseas agents in accordance with agreed rates and tariffs, whilst monitoring financial Profit & Loss levels on own shipments.
* Complete all administration functions in accordance with company policy and procedures.

Salary & Benefits

* Salary: £28,000-£32,000 Circa
* Annual leave; 31 days. Increases after 3 years' service by 1 day a year, up to a further 5 days.
