Sonic Summary

An organized and detail-oriented Underwriter is needed in Altrincham, Greater Manchester.
Candidates must have previous experience in an Underwriter role, preferably with Mortgage/Bridging experience.
The position offers a full-time schedule, Monday to Friday from 8:45 am to 5:30 pm.
The salary ranges from £35,000 to £45,000, with annual reviews and a bonus scheme.
Key responsibilities include liaising with lenders and clients, assessing loan applications, and ensuring compliance with company policies.

We are currently looking for an organised and detail-orientated Underwriter to join our client's team in Altrincham, Greater Manchester. The successful candidate will require previous experience and join a company with fantastic work culture, and career progression opportunities.

Working hours:

Full-Time (Office Based)
Monday to Friday 8:45 – 5:30 pm

The successful Underwriter will be offered:

Basic Salary £35,000 - £45,000
Annual Salary Review/ Bonus Scheme

Underwriter requirements:

Experience working in an Underwriter role with Mortgage/ Bridging experience
Excellent customer service and telephone manner
Initiative to get the job done.
Excellent administrative Skills
IT Literate
Excellent attention to detail
CeMAP (Not essential)

Responsibilities for the role of Underwriter:

Liaise with Lenders and clients to ensure the smooth processing of bridging applications through to completion.
Carry out an assessment of the loan application to ensure all aspects of the underwriting criteria are met.
Ensure all underwriting is in line with company policy and within regulation.
Build good relationships with 3rd party suppliers including brokers and solicitors to assist in the smooth flow of business.
