A well-regarded firm is seeking an experienced New Build Conveyancer to join its award-winning team to manage a portfolio of new build transactions and supervise a small team of Legal Assistants. This role requires taking full responsibility for all elements of the conveyancing process from inception to completion. 

The Conveyancing team is pleasant, knowledgeable and helpful. Longer-term improvement and realising your full potential will be encouraged and assisted. The conveyancing department is well-known in the business for doing excellent work and offering clients exceptional service. You would be joining a highly skilled group of Conveyancing Fee-Earners, both qualified and non-qualified. 

Key Responsibilities will include:

  • Case Management: Handle a caseload of new build transactions from inception to completion
  • Client and Third-Party Interaction: Effectively communicate with clients and third parties over the telephone, in written correspondence, and occasionally face-to-face, to provide advice and assistance
  • Communication: Keep clients and third parties informed about all elements of the conveyancing transaction
  • System Updates: Maintain real-time updates on the case management system and any third-party websites, and send out weekly updates to developers
  • Relationship Management: Maintain strong relationships with referrers of work, ensuring a steady flow of incoming work and preventing drop-offs due to poor service delivery
  • Documentation: Prepare required documentation as part of the conveyancing process
  • Team Supervision: Manage a small team of Legal Assistants, actively contributing to their training and development
  • Completion Preparation: Ensure all aspects of completions are prepared and run smoothly on the day of completion
  • Team Support: Assist your team and other teams as needed
