Node.js Developer (Typescript) – Manchester (Hybrid Remote) -  £60,000Node.js/Typescript/React | TDD | Flexible hours | Greenfield ProjectsAda Meher is currently working with a leading consultancy company in the Manchester area, who are recruiting for a Node.js Engineer, using Typescript, to work on a number of new greenfield projects born out of new business success. The new projects will be built using the latest in Typescript and specifically MERN stack with AWS deployments, however the legacy application also includes some PHP/Laravel/Vue so knowledge in this area to help porting over would be a benefit but not necessary. The client has flexibility and autonomy at the core of their culture, so whilst there is an expectation of an office-based presence they are more than happy to work this around other life commitments to find a solution which suits all.The ideal candidate will have some experience working with in JavaScript/Typescript and relevant libraries and frameworks, preferably Node, but also a thirst for development and learning as the successful candidate will be given time and support to fill in any gaps in knowledge around the tech stack, provided they can demonstrate this good core development knowledge. To be considered:
  • Demonstrable experience in a JavaScript/Typescript role
  • Experience with relevant frameworks/libraries (preferably but not exclusively Node.js/React)
  • Experience or knowledge around PHP/Laravel would be useful
  • Experience with Unit Testing/TDD is a bonus
