Senior Wills and Probate Solicitor – Manchester

Recently, a fantastic Manchester-based firm has opened up an intriguing opportunity for an experienced Senior Wills and Probate Solicitor to join its team!

The Wills, Trusts & Probate Team is highly regarded for its expertise, acting for high-net-worth individuals and business owners on a wide spectrum of private client matters.

The Opportunity:

  • We are seeking an experienced Wills, Trusts & Probate Partner or Senior Associate to lead the team, advise on complex client matters and contribute to the growth of the department

Key Responsibilities will Include:

  • Advising on tax-efficient wills, inheritance tax mitigation and asset protection
  • Administration of complex estates, including taxable estates or those with complicating factors
  • Establishing and managing lifetime trusts and Family Investment Companies
  • Drafting and registering Lasting Powers of Attorney and Court of Protection applications
  • Mentoring and supervising junior team members to ensure high standards of service
  • Developing the department’s profile by promoting services to new and existing clients, building market connections and generating referrals

What We’re Looking For?

  • STEP qualified with extensive private client experience at a national or top-tier regional firm
  • Deep technical knowledge of probate law and high levels of client care expertise
  • Demonstrated ability to supervise and develop junior team members
  • Strong market connections and ideally, a client following
