About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Scrum Master with a proven track record of leading high-performing teams and fostering a positive and motivated work environment, to be part of our fast paced and growing business. This role would be home based with occasional in-person attendance at key company events / meetings.

You will report to our Program Management Office (PMO) Lead and will work with our entire DevOps team via the CTO and Lead Developers to ensure that our Sprint deliveries align with business priorities. The PMO lead reports directly to the COO. Your responsibilities will include fostering an empowered DevOps team characterised by a collaborative and self-organising environment delivering high quality work and demonstrating continuous improvement.

Typical work would include: -

  • Leading, training, and coaching the organisation in Agile adoption and Agile practices to elevate product and service quality.
  • Helping to foster a culture of high performance within the team, recognising strengths and areas for improvement.
  • Help the team to define and track sprint goals, monitor progress, and maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation.
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between the devops team, product owner, and other stakeholders.
  • Help the team to clarify requirements, manage expectations, and address any conflicts or challenges that may arise.
  • Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to influence decision-making and support projects.
  • Track and analyse project metrics, such as velocity, burn-down charts, and cycle time. Provide regular reports to the team and management, highlighting progress, risks, and areas for improvement.
  • Resolving team impediments and contributing to the advancement of Agile practices.

About You

Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent certification is required, and a basic understanding of software development concepts and technologies is desirable.

You will have an in-depth understanding of Scrum principles and agile methodologies with exceptional communication and facilitation skills allowing you to effectively collaborate with cross- functional teams, stakeholders, and clients.

You will be flexible and adaptable, experienced in working remotely and effectively managing distributed teams with changing priorities and multiple projects. Ability to identify and address issues promptly, finding practical and effective solutions.
