Key Responsibilities:
• Leadership & Team Management: Lead the nursing team, manage shifts efficiently, and ensure optimal care is provided at all times.
• Patient-Centered Care: Build and maintain therapeutic relationships with patients, ensuring their individual needs are met.
• Compliance & Ethical Practice: Ensure adherence to professional codes of conduct, standards, and legislation. Promote ethical practice across the team.
• Care Planning & Assessment: Contribute to patient assessments, collaborate on developing care plans, and monitor progress.
• Education & Mentorship: Provide mentorship to student nurses and staff, fostering their growth and development.
• Professional Development: Promote a culture of continuous professional development within the team and provide access to the latest knowledge and skills.

To Succeed in This Role, You Will Need:
• RMN or RNLD Qualification: A valid RMN or RNLD qualification is essential.
• Post-Registration Experience: At least 3 years of post-registration experience in a senior nursing role.
• Supervisory Experience: Demonstrated experience in a supervisory role within a healthcare setting.
• Mentoring Certificate: A recognised mentoring certificate is preferred.
• Teaching & Assessment Skills: Ability to effectively teach and assess junior staff.
• Organisational Skills: Strong coordination and prioritisation skills with a focus on health and safety.
• Drive for Learning: A passion for continuous learning and keeping up-to-date with the latest practices.
• Team-Oriented Attitude: A flexible, positive approach with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
