We are currently recruiting for a Ward Manager - CAMHS.The hospital has an established reputation for providing the highest standards of care together with an extensive range of clinical services. The hospital has residential facilities for 56 patients as well as day care and outpatient services.

We are looking for an experienced Ward Manager (RMN Qualified) to work on our 15 bedded CAMHS specialist eating disorder inpatient service.

The successful candidate will provide Clinical Management and Leadership to the full nursing team; this includes being a highly visible role model and a mentor to the nursing team.

The post-holder will have responsibility for overseeing and maintaining the highest standards of nursing care. The role holder will act as a senior clinical member of the team, providing advice and support from a nursing perspective and will oversee and hold responsibility for the ward environment and its resources.

The post holder will work closely with our large multi-disciplinary team and be committed to providing quality patient focussed care, comprehensive risk assessment and working to the highest standards. The role holder will work alongside the hospital's senior management team, be involved in the Clinical Governance and audit processes across the hospital and to liaise with local providers and stakeholders.

Experience of working in a CAMHS setting and with eating disorders is highly desirable. There will be some on call requirements as part of the role approximately eight weeks a year.
