Payroll Manager - 6 Month Fixed Term Contract (potential to be extended)South Manchester £50,000 - £60,000Axon Moore are working with the Head of Payroll for a large business in South Manchester to appoint an experienced Payroll Manager into the team. The role will oversee a small team across varying experience levels and will look after multiple payrolls, each with varying pay dates and frequencies. This is a very fast paced role in an everchanging environment. Key Responsibilities:• Manage payroll operations in other regions, such as the EU, USA, etc. Your responsibilities include coordinating with these providers, reviewing their work, and ensuring accuracy and compliance.• Stay up-to-date with the payroll laws and regulations in each region you manage. Ensure that all payroll processes are compliant with local and international laws and standards.• Utilise software to streamline and automate payroll processes. This may involve configuring the software, troubleshooting issues, and optimizing its use to enhance efficiency and accuracy.• Maintain accurate and organised payroll records, including employee data, tax information, and payment details. Ensure data confidentiality and security.• Generate and analyse payroll reports to provide insights to management and facilitate decision-making.
