Freightserve recruitment are looking for a Air Export Coordinator for a well-established busy Freight Forwarder based in the Manchester area.
Key duties and responsibilities:
- Quotations.
- Producing all documentation for export shipments.
- Completion of customs declarations.
- Track shipments.
- Follow up on Pre-Alerts / Post Flights
- Authenticating supplier invoices.
- Completing customer invoicing within revenue recognition policy.
- Adding accurate costs to the system to ensure financial reports correct.
- Recording correspondence in eDocs.
- Dealing with queries, both shipment and invoice.
- Promotion of additional services to clients.
- Ensuring all internal SOP’s are followed correctly.
- Awareness of Deferment and Government Gateway accounting procedures.
- Ensuring any tasks within Workflow are actioned quickly.
Person Specification:
- Good communication skills
- Good organization skills and effective time management & working practices
- Manage time effectively
- Commercial awareness
- Attention to detail
- IT Literate in Microsoft Office
- Problem solving
- Applicant would ideally have 2-3 years recent relevant industry experience with previous involvement in Air Exports from quote to delivered.
- CW1 experience an advantage but not essential as full training and support will be provided.
