We are now recruiting for a Warehouse Logistics Administrator working for a global freight forwarder based in Altrincham. Your role will be to assist in the smooth running of the warehouse, providing office and computer support services to the warehouse and when work permits assisting within the warehouse at peak times. In this varied warehouse and administration role, you will gain invaluable experience and have the chance to expand your skill set in a successful career Key duties and responsibilities: * Order processing and management of key reports for both the warehouse and customers * Client Liaison and escalation point for problems within the warehouse facility.* Management of warehouse visitors in conjunction with the warehouse supervisor. * Setting up deliveries with couriers and UK hauliers based on both profitability and service dependent on customer requirements * Support the warehouse team in their daily duties.* Address service failures and analyse root cause with warehouse supervisor.* Support the Branch Manager.* Develop a strong understanding of the inhouse software to improve routines. * Assist within the warehouse including but not limited to Pick & Pack and container loading/unloading. Person Specification* Minimum 3-5 years' experience in a joint office/warehouse facility.* Able to produce good quality professional documents.* A team player.* Delivers tasks and processes with limited oversight from management.* Pro-actively identifies improvements to processes and promotes them to the wider team.* Good Time Management* Clear communications skills, with the ability to influence others.Salary and Benefits * Salary £24,000 to £26,500* Hours 9-5.30pm Monday to Friday* Annual leave; 31 days after 3 years' service by 1 day a year, up to a further 5 days. * Volunteer Day: Additional 1 day per year paid to give back to the local community. * Health cash plan service * Pension scheme * Free Parking * Fresh fruit delivered weekly to all offices. * Paid sick leave, after probation. * EAP Program and Virtual Doctor service * Long service financial rewards. * Death In Service benefit of x3 salary
