- Manage a diverse and complex caseload of residential conveyancing transactions from inception through to completion, including sales, purchases, transfers of equity, leasehold and freehold matters, and remortgages.
- Provide expert legal advice and guidance to clients throughout the conveyancing process, ensuring a high level of client satisfaction and maintaining strong relationships.
- Oversee and mentor junior members of the team, providing support and guidance on legal matters and case management.
- Work closely with the firm's wider team to deliver efficient and seamless service to clients.
- Liaise with estate agents, financial institutions, and other third parties involved in the conveyancing process.
- Keep abreast of changes in property law and market conditions to ensure best practice and compliance with relevant legislation.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and documentation in accordance with the firm's policies and regulatory requirements.
- Support business development initiatives, including client relationship management, networking, and promoting the firm's services.
- Handle client matters efficiently, meeting deadlines, and managing workloads effectively to achieve optimal outcomes.
Key Skills & Experience:
- Qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 10 years PQE in Residential Conveyancing.
- Extensive experience managing a caseload of complex residential property transactions.
- Proven ability to manage and resolve issues arising in property transactions, providing clear and effective legal advice.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with a strong focus on client care and satisfaction.
- Strong leadership skills, with experience in supervising and mentoring junior staff.
- High level of attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Ability to handle a varied and demanding caseload while maintaining exceptional client service.
- Knowledge of the latest developments in residential property law and conveyancing processes.
