- Prepare and process legal documents, including issuing claims and applications, ensuring accuracy and compliance with court requirements.
- Register applications on the Land Registry portal, complete DS1s, and handle other property-related legal forms.
- Maintain and organise client files, ensuring all documents are properly stored and accessible.
- Communicate professionally with clients, solicitors, courts, and third parties, handling enquiries and providing updates.
- Manage diaries, schedule appointments, handle incoming correspondence, and assist with general office tasks.
- Assist with invoicing and financial documentation to support fee-earners
- Previous experience as a Legal Secretary, ideally within property law or litigation
- Knowledge of court procedures and experience completing court forms
- Familiarity with Land Registry processes, DS1 forms, and property transactions
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal case management systems
- Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under deadlines
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
