About the company…My client is a leading Wealth Management firm based in the heart of Altrincham, and the opportunity has arisen to recruit a dedicated and experienced Senior IFA Administrator to join a growing Pension & Investment Team.

The Role…This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior IFA Administrator to play a key role in supporting our clients and team. You will manage your own workload, handling tasks delegated by the Team Manager, and working closely with clients and colleagues in a professional, detail-oriented manner.

This is a technical administrative role, suitable to both aspiring paraplanners and career administrators with the required skills & experience.

Key Responsibilities…

  • Processing and submitting new business in line with the new business workflow
  • Submitting Letters of Authority and gathering all necessary plan details for research and analysis
  • Greeting and assisting clients, and responding to incoming enquiries
  • Rebalancing client portfolios, including buying and selling
  • Accurately processing client withdrawals and contributions, ensuring completion
  • Preparing client packs for Annual Review meetings, and completing post-meeting tasks
  • Writing basic Suitability Reports
  • Conducting research for new business cases, primarily focusing on fund and cost analysis

What you need...

  • A minimum of two years’ experience in a similar IFA administration role
  • High attention to detail and the ability to manage your own workload independently
  • Ideally working towards or already holding R0 qualifications (we support staff development with bonuses for exam success)
  • Previous experience with the following platforms would be advantageous:
    • Intelliflo
    • A J Bell
    • Transact
    • Royal London
    • Canada Life International
    • FE Analytics
