Account Manager - Aerospace & Defence

£45,000 - £55,000 + 6k Car Allowance + 20% Bonus

This role could sit someone currently in a role such as a Sales Engineering, Project Management, Account Management, Applications Engineering or even someone from a Design background. The key is you need to have excellent communication skills and the drive to develop strong relationships, working highly professional blue-chip companies such as BAE and AirBus.

The role involves direct customer engagement, collaborating to develop specifications tailored to their needs. You will then coordinate with internal designers to create a concept, which you'll present back to the customer. Following this, you will work closely with the customer to establish project timelines, maintaining regular communication and fostering strong relationships. Additionally, this position has a commercial focus, centered on generating new business primarily through leveraging existing client relationships.

Experience/Skills;

  • Degree or HND in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Experience dealing directory with customers in one form or another.
  • Project management experience (Prince2 ideal but training will be given).
  • Can demonstrate commercial knowledge and formulate technical proposals.
  • From a technical engineering background.
  • Excellent communication skills.
