We are excited to offer a temporary full-time position for an HR Business Partner to cover maternity leave. This role is crucial in fostering an inclusive and engaged work environment by providing strategic and operational HR support across multiple departments.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Partner with managers to design and deliver HR solutions that maximise people performance.
  • Develop and implement effective workforce planning strategies to strengthen the organisation.
  • Provide guidance and support on employment law, performance management, employee relations (e.g., disciplinary, grievance, capability), talent development, and organisational development.
  • Support the recruitment and selection process to attract a diverse pool of candidates.
  • Embed organisational values while supporting the delivery of the people and culture strategy.
  • Stay updated with HR trends and best practices to proactively propose innovative solutions and ensure effective management of people matters.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an HR Business Partner or skilled HR adviser ready to take the next steps.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building trusted relationships.
  • Experience in championing HR initiatives aligned with diversity, equity, and inclusion goals.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Proficiency in using MS Office suite for analysing people data and experience with HR systems.
  • CIPD Level 5 qualification.
  • Experience in a safeguarding environment is preferred.
