Senior/Lead Occupational Therapist
Salary: £35,000 to £40,000 (dependent on experience)
Hours: 37.5 hours
Contract Type: Permanent - Full Time
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full-time Senior/Lead Occupational Therapist to join a dynamic and enthusiastic multi-disciplinary team, working across adult and CAMHS ED inpatient services. This role offers the chance to maintain and develop the Occupational Therapy service, providing care to a diverse group of clients with complex needs in an inpatient setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide consultation and assistance to the lead consultant regarding the therapeutic programme on the unit.
- Engage patients in therapeutic, meaningful activities that contribute to their overall care and recovery.
- Manage and co-ordinate individual treatment plans focused on occupational therapy and structured activities.
- Conduct 1:1 occupational therapy assessments and deliver tailored treatment.
- Develop strong working relationships with clinical and professional colleagues, ensuring that clinical practices align with organizational policies and meet statutory regulations, especially in terms of risk assessment.
- Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills and exhibit strong organizational abilities.
