My client is a B Corp, award winning PR & Content agency who is looking to appoint a driven and enthusiastic B2B PR & Content Account Executive or Senior Account Executive.

They are serious about their social and environmental impact, and they demonstrate this by measuring and publishing their performance across, waste and energy usage, EDI, training, charity and fundraising and mental health and wellbeing. Each member of the team plays a fundamental part in delivering these targets, forming an integral part of the job spec.

Key traits and skills they are looking for include someone who is driven and hungry for success, hitting client targets and career development. You will be brilliant at media relations as well as a strong writer.

Client sectors are mainly B2B focused and cover property, energy/sustainability, built environment, professional services, utilities, hygiene & FM, tech, life science, manufacturing, retail

Job description and day-to-day responsibilities

  • Media relations: Confidently conduct journalist outreach via phone and email for earned content. Support account manager to drive pitch strategies. Oversee the creation of full and accurate media lists. Independently seek out relevant feature opportunities without any major support from account managers
  • Content writing: Independently deliver strong written content with minimal input from management. Support Junior team members with written content by providing briefs and guidance
  • Reporting: Coverage monitoring and client notifications. Responsible for delivery of monthly reports to account manager
  • Social media: Responsible for creative direction of social media plans. Responsible for ensuring social media plans are delivered to a high standard with little input from management
  • Client liaison: Support account manager with driving client update meetings, including required preparation and follow up
  • New business: Participate in team creative ideations for new business
  • Management responsibilities: Responsible for supporting junior team with press plans, driving pitch strategy and overseeing social content plans
  • Strategy: Support with data collection, desk research and identifying key events and awards and idea generation
  • Sector knowledge: Responsible for building sector knowledge through daily trade reading and attending trade events across all client sectors
  • B Corp: Responsible for driving internal B Corp specialist area. 24 hours volunteering during work time to a chosen charity
